Aris appoints Nikos Vetoulas as head coach

Aris Midea Thessaloniki has confirmed the appointment of Nikos Vetoulas as its new head coach on a deal until the end of the 2024-25 season.
Vetoulas, who started his coaching career as an assistant at Aris in the 2008-09 campaign, also represented the club as a player in 2003-04, helping the team win the Greek Cup.
With Aris, Vetoulas will coach in the BKT EuroCup for the first time in his career.
The 50-year-old most recently coached Maroussi between February 7, 2024, and October 27, 2024, while his other coaching experience came with Apollon Patras (2010-15), Promitheas Patras (2016-17), the Rethymno Cretan Kings (2017-18), Kolossos Rodou (2018-19), Ionikos Nikaias (2019-20), and then again with Apollon Patras (2020-23).
