Aris Thessaloniki kept a familiar face in its roster, versatile forward Ismael Sanogo, who re-signed for one more season on Wednesday. Sanogo (2.03 meters, 26 years old) averaged 5.7 points, 5.1 rebounds and 0.6 blocks in less than 20 minutes per night in 18 Greek League games last season, helping his team reach the playoffs.

Sanogo started his professional basketball career with Long Island of the G League and also played for Italian side Vanoli Basket Cremona before joining Aris last season. Before that, Sanogo helped Seton Hall University win the Big East tournament in 2016. He has also been a member of the Ivory Coast national team. Sanogo is set to make his EuroCup debut with Aris next season.
