Besiktas bags All-EuroCup forward Anthony Brown

Besiktas Gain Istanbul announced on Wednesday that it has signed small forward Anthony Brown for the 2025-26 season.
Brown (1.98 meters, 32 years old) come off an outstanding seasons with Turk Telekom Ankara. He led the EuroCup in three-pointers made with 2.7 per game while shooting a remarkable 45.8% from deep. Brown was third in scoring with 17.8 points and also tallied 4.2 points and 3.0 assists per game to earn All-EuroCup Second Team honors for the second time. He previously received an All-EuroCup nod with Boulogne Metropolitans in France in 2020-21.
He has also played in the EuroCup for Partizan Belgrade in Serbia, Limoges CSP in France and FruttiExtra Bursaspor in Turkiye. Brown started his professional basketball career in the NBA with the Los Angeles Lakers and has also played for the New Orleans Pelicans, Orlando Magic and Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA; the Los Angeles D-Fenders, Erie Bay Hawks, Iowa Wolves and Lakeland Magic in the G League; Maccabi Rishon Lezion in Israel, Fuenlabrada in Spain, and UNICS Kazan in Russia.
Brown, who won the VTB United League in 2023 with UNICS, was a member of the USA U19 national team.
