Braian Angola signs for Turk Telekom
Turk Telekom Ankara has signed forward Braian Angola, the club confirmed on Wednesday.
Angola (1.98 meters, 30 years old) joins from Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv, where he appeared in one BKT EuroCup game this season, playing just 5:30 minutes. He enjoyed an impressive 2023-24 campaign with the team, however, averaging 11.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.1 steals across 16 EuroCup appearances.
After starting out with the Osceola Magic in the G League in the 2018-19 season, Angola has since spent the rest of his career playing in Europe.
He has represented Oostende in Belgium (2019-20), Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade in Serbia (2020-21), Ironi Nes Ziona (2020-21) and Hapoel (2023-24) in Israel, AEK Athens in Greece (2021-22), and Galatasaray Istanbul (2022-23) and Pinar Karsiyaka (2022-23) in Turkiye.
Now he returns to Turkiye to play for the third Turkish club in his career.
