Montenegrin champ Buducnost VOLI Podgorica made the first addition to its roster for the 2023-24 season by signing athletic small forward Andrija Slavkovic, the club announced Monday.
Slavkovic (2.01 meters, 24 years old) arrives from another Podgorica-based team, SC Derbi where he spent the last five seasons. He averaged 6.9 points and 2.9 rebounds in the ABA League action, and 10.3 points on 44.8% three-point shooting in the Montenegrin League games.
Slavkovic returns to Buducnost where he played for youth categories and made his EuroCup debut in the 2015-16 campaign. Before Buducnost, Slavkovic made his professional debut as a 15-year old with Centar Bijelo Polje, and also spent the 2017-18 season with Lovcen, all in his native Montenegro.
