Only days ahead of the 7DAYS EuroCup Final, Frutti Extra Bursaspor announced a new agreement with forward Onuralp Bitim, who re-signed his contract until the end of the 2023-24 season.

Bitim (1.96 meters, 23 years old) is averaging 12.9 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 18 EuroCup games with Bursaspor this season. He has played a key role in all playoffs game, allowing Bursaspor to reach the final against Virtus Segafredo Bologna on Wednesday. Bitim had 20 points and 10 rebounds in the eighthfinals against Partizan NIS Belgrade, had 14 points and 6 rebounds in the quarterfinals against Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana, and amassed 18 points in the semifinals against MoraBanc Andorra.
Bitim started his professional career with Anadolu Efes Istanbul, making his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut in the 2017-18 season. He has also played for Bakirkoy and Pinar Karsiyaka Izmir of his native Turkey. Bitim helped Efes win the Turkish League title in 2019 and has been a member of the Turkish national team.
After this agreement, three Bursaspor starters – Bitim, Derek Needham and David Dudzinski – have signed respective multi-year deals with the club, which can earn the right to play in next season's Turkish Airlines EuroLeague with a victory in the EuroCup Final on Wednesday.
