Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana announced that it has signed point guard Matic Rebec on a short-term deal to help fill out its backcourt. The contract is for one month. Rebec (1.81 meters, 27 years old) played for Agribertocchi Orzinuovi in the Italian second last season and trained with Cedevita during the preseason. A member of the Slovenian national team that won the gold medal at EuroBasket 2017, Rebec has also played for Helios Domzale, Rogaska, Krka Novo Mesto and Koper Primorska in Slovenia, Enisey Krasnoyarsk in Russia, FMP in Serbia, Gipuzkoa BC San Sebastian in Spain, Cibona Zagreb in Croatia, Rasta Vechta in Germany, Rouen in France, and Ravenna and Chieti in Italy.
