Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana announced on Thursday that it has signed young guard Lovro Gnjidic for the coming season. Gnjidic (1.97 meters, 21 years old) arrives from Cibona Zagreb, where last season in 39 Croatian League games he averaged 6.2 points, 2.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.1 steals in 20:30 minutes.

Gnjidic is a product of the Cibona youth system and he has played there since he made his debut with the U19 team in 2018-19. He had a brief stint at Bosco of the Croatian second division and is also a member of the Croatian national team. His father, Boris Gnjidic, was a professional player who played in the EuroLeague. Lovro Gnjidic will be making his EuroCup debut this season.
