U-BT Cluj-Napoca bolstered its backcourt with the signing of combo-guard [D.J. Seeley](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/eurocup/players/dennis-seeley/004862/) for the coming season. Seeley (1.93 meters, 33 years old) arrives from FC Bayern Munich, with which he competed in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague last season. He also brings six seasons worth of EuroCup experience with him.

### EuroLeague experience

Seeley averaged 6.2 points and 1.1 assists over 12 EuroLeague games in a reserve role with Bayern last season. It was his second campaign with Bayern after posting 8.1 points and 2.2 assists in the 2020-21 season in helping the team reach the playoffs. Seeley made his EuroLeague debut with Maccabi Tel Aviv in 2016-17.

### EuroCup experience

Seeley has played a total 84 games in the EuroCup for Radnicki of Serbia, Besiktas Istanbul of Turkey, Gran Canaria of Spain, Rytas of Lithuania and Buducnost of Montenegro. He enters the season with 883 points, 99 three-pointers and 194 assists. Seeley has also played professionally for BBC Bayreuth in Germany, the Delaware 87ers in the G-League, Manresa and Zaragoza in Spain and Gravelines in France. He won the Montenegrin League championship with Buducnost in 2022 and has won national cups in Israel, Lithuania, Montenegro and Germany.
