Danielius Lavrinovicius heads to Lietkabelis
7bet-Lietkabelis Panevezys has confirmed the signing of Danielius Lavrinovicius on a two-year deal.
Lavrinovicius (2.05 meters, 25 years old) joins the club from Zalgiris Kaunas, where he averaged 1.4 points and 1.6 rebounds per night in 6:20 minutes on the floor across 19 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague appearances last season.
The Lithuanian center, fresh off his debut EuroLeague season, will compete in the BKT EuroCup for the first time in the 2024-25 campaign.
Lavrinovicius started his career with the Artland Dragons, playing in the third and second tier in Germany, before returning to his native Lithuania in 2021 to suit up for Nevezis. After two seasons with Nevezis, where he averaged 10.8 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 34 Lithuanian League games in 2022-23, he signed for Zalgiris.
Now, he will look to make his mark in the EuroCup as Lietkabelis fights to reach the playoffs in Group B.
