Turk Telekom Ankara recorded its first road win since mid-December by topping Lietkabelis Panevezys 75-77 at Cido Arena on Wednesday.

Turk Telekom improved to 7-8 in Group A while Lietkabelis dropped to 8-6. Both teams have already qualified for the EuroCup Playoffs. Samet Geyik led the winners with a career-high 32 points. Anthony Clemmons added 13 and Aubrey Dawkins scored 11 for Turk Telekom. Panagiotis Kalaitzakis paced Lietkabelis with 17 points and Gediminas Orelik and Djordje Gagic each scored 10 for the hosts. It all came down to the final minute, as Kalaitzakis tied the game with a three-pointer but Alex Perez's go-ahead jumper allowed the visitors to return to Ankara with a road victory.

Clemmons got Turk Telekom going with a three-point play which Geyik followed with a jumper for a 0-5 lead. Vytenis Lipkevicius stepped up with a layup-and-one and erased Geyik's jumper with a layup. Gagic dunked, Dawkins and Orelik traded triples and Geyik followed a jumper with a jump hook to give the guests a 10-14 edge. Berk Demir scored around the basket, Geyik matched Gabrielus Maldunas's layup with a one-handed slam and Dawkins struck again from downtown, prompting the hosts to call timeout at 14-21. Kalaitzakis followed a backdoor layup with a triple, but Demir made it 19-24 after 10 minutes.
Maldunas finished a third-chance Lietkabelis offense with a reverse layup and Dovydas Giedraitis added a three-point play to tie it at 25-25. Geyik kept pushing Turk Telekom, but Kristupas Zemaitis made a three-pointer off the dribble and Karolis Giedraitis also struck from beyond the arc to give Lietkabelis its first lead, 31-28. Turk Telekom kept running its offense through Geyik, who got help from Erdi Gulaslan to make it 35-39. Maldunas tried to change things with a reverse layup that brought Lietkabelis within 37-40 at halftime.
Kalaitzakis buried a three-pointer right after the break. Geyik dunked again and Can Ogut struck from beyond the arc to give the visitors a 40-45 lead. Gagic stepped up with a dunk and Orelik added a floater, but Perez and Dawkins kept the visitors in charge, 44-49. Gagic scored again and Lipkevicius followed a turnaround jumper with a backdoor layup to restore a 50-49 Lietkabelis edge. Clemmons, Geyik and Dorukhan Engindeniz each buried one from downtown, after which the hosts called timeout at 52-58. Dovydas Giedraitis joined the three-point shootout and Demir answered with a tip-in to fix the score at 55-60 after 30 minutes.

Orelik and Kalaitzakis each buried a three-pointer, giving the hosts a 66-64 lead with over 6 minutes left. Clemmons and Dawkins buried back-to-back triples off a Turk Telekom timeout and Geyik also struck from downtown to cap a 0-9 run, giving the visitors a 66-73 lead with over 3 minutes remaining. Kalaitzakis answered from beyond the arc and Gagic improved Geyik's mid-range jumper with a three-point play that gave Lietkabelis hope, 72-75, in the next-to-last minute. Kalaitzakis sank a three-pointer that tied it at 75-75 with 34.3 seconds left. Perez buried a baseline jumper with 6.3 seconds left and Kalaitzakis and Dovydas Giedraitis each missed a shot at the other end.
