Shooting guard Jovan Kljajic will remain with Dreamland Gran Canaria for two more seasons after the sides came to terms on a new deal over the weekend. Kljajic (1.97 meters, 21 years old) first joined the Gran Canaria youth academy as a 15-year-old in 2016 and made his professional debut the following season in the EuroCup. Last season he appeared in 10 EuroCup games for Gran Canaria and totaled 19 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists in 83 minutes. He also made 14 appearances in the Spanish league.
Kljajic has also spent a season on loan with Bilbao Basket in Spain and Prienei in Lithuania. A native of Montenegro, he led his country to a silver medal at the U16 European Championship in 2017 and has also suited up for the U17, U18 and senior national teams.
