Herbalife Gran Canaria continued to give shape to its front line by re-signing veteran center Oliver Stevic to a one-year deal, the club announced on Saturday.

Stevic (2.05 meters, 37 years old) started last season with Fuenlabrada before arriving at Gran Canaria in November and helped the team reach the EuroCup Semifinals, averaging 3.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists. He also posted 5.9 points and 3.3 rebounds in the Spanish League action. This will be the tenth EuroCup season for Stevic who made his competition debut in the 2007-08 campaign with Slask Wroclaw of Poland, and has also played in the EuroCup with Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade in Serbia, EWE Baskets Oldenburg in Germany, Stelmet Zielona Gora back in Poland, then with Spanish League sides MoraBanc Andorra and Joventut Badalona. He has played in 89 career EuroCup games averaging 7.3 points and 4.8 rebounds, and has another EuroCup semifinal appearance in 2019 with Andorra. Stevic started his career with FMP Zeleznik of his native Serbia, and apart from the aforementioned EuroCup clubs, he also played for Borac Cacak and Masinac Kraljevo of Serbia, Anwil Wloclawek of Poland, Bilbao Basket, Fuenlabrada and San Pablo Burgos in Spain, Royal Hali Gaziantep of Turkey, Novipiu Casale Monferrato of Italy and Igokea in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
