Veolia Towers Hamburg added a proven force to its front line signing a one-year contract with big man Aleksander Dziewa, the club announced on Wednesday. Dziewa (2.07 meters, 25 years old) arrives from Slask Wroclaw where he spent the past seven seasons. Last season, his second in BKT EuroCup, Dziewa posted 11.6 points on 60.8% two-point and 41.2% three-point shooting. He also had 5.0 rebounds and 2.1 assists.
One of the games last season when Dziewa impressed was when Slask visited Hamburg, and he amassed 17 points, 15 rebounds and 2 blocks in 30 minutes on the floor.
