Hamburg inks forward Jordan Barnett

Veolia Hamburg Towers continued piecing together their roster for the 2024-25 season by signing small forward Jordan Barnett, who spent the past three seasons playing in Hungary. Last season, Barnett (2.01 meters, 28 years old) averaged of 15.7 points on 46.2% three-point shooting and 7.2 rebounds to help Alba Fehevar finish in third place.
Barnett’s first stops in European basketball came in Germany, where he played for the Giessen 46ers in 2019-20 and Rasta Vechta the following year, appearing in a total of 47 games between the clubs. He has since spent a season each with ZTE KK and Soproni in Hungary. Barnett also played in the G-League for the Wisconsin Herd and the Indiana Mad Ants.
"Jordan has played at a high level in Hungary in recent years. His last season in particular stands out and shows that he is up to the step back to Germany and thus into a stronger league. We were looking for a player with a lot of physicality and athleticism, who has his strengths in rebounding and also exudes danger from the outside. Jordan combines all these qualities and brings experience to the table. I'm looking forward to working with him," Coach Benka Barloschky said.
