Hamburg Towers added another player to its roster ahead of its 7DAYS EuroCup debut next season; forward Seth Hinrichs signed a one-year deal with the German powerhouse on Tuesday.
Hamburg signs forward Hinrichs
Hinrichs (2.01 meters, 28 years old) arrives from BAXI Manresa, where he averaged 7.8 points and 5.3 rebounds in 36 Spanish League games last season.
He started his career with FC Porto of Portugal, and also played for MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg, Rasta Vechta and ratiopharm Ulm of Germany before joining Manresa in 2020. Hinrichs helped Porto win the Portuguese Cup title in 2016. He worked for Hamburg head coach Pedro Calles in the past, helping Vechta reach the German League semifinals in 2019. Hinrichs played the 2019-20 EuroCup with Ulm, averaging 6.3 points and 3.7 rebounds in 10 games. "I can't wait to come back to Germany. I'm happy to see so many familiar faces, plus I can't wait to play for Pedro (Calles) again," Hinrichs said after the agreement. "For me, he is one of the best coaches I have worked with."
