Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv has announced the signing of Braian Angola on a two-year deal. Angola (29 years old, 1.98 meters) arrives from Turkish side Pinar Karsiyaka, where he averaged 15.9 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.7 steals in 30 games last season. He played a big role in his team’s upset over Turk Telekom Ankara in the Turkish League semifinals, too.
Angola has previously appeared in one BKT EuroCup game, spending 4 minutes and 34 seconds for Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade in the 2020-21 campaign, but the new Hapoel recruit can now look ahead to making a bigger impact in the competition next season.
