Hapoel Tel Aviv announced on Thursday that forward Jaylen Hoard has signed a contract for the 2022-23 season.
Hapoel, Hoard pen deal for the season
Hoard (2.03 meters, 23 years old) had been with the team during training camp on a short-term deal and now they have made a commitment for the full season. He arrives from Oklahoma City of the NBA, where Hoard averaged 14.7 points, 12.0 rebounds and 2.4 assists in seven games last season. He also made 39 appearances for Oklahoma City of the G League during the 2021-22 campaign during which he tallied 10.1 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steal. Hoard is set to make his 7DAYS EuroCup debut this season.
Hoard, a native of France, spent one year playing college basketball in the United States for Wake Forest University. After going undrafted in the 2019 NBA Draft, he played for Portland in the NBA and Texas in the G League. He then signed with Oklahoma City in December 2020, where he spent the next season and a half.
