Hapoel Tel Aviv has signed veteran small forward Jordan McRae for the 2022-23 season. McRae (1.98 meters, 31 years old) arrives from French club Boulogne Metropolitans 92, where last season he was a teammate of big man Tomer Ginat, who joined Hapoel over the summer. McRae averaged 13.1 points, 3.1 assists and 1.2 steals in 12 games in the 7DAYS EuroCup with Metropolitans.
McRae had spent the majority of his career in his native United States, including 54 appearances for Cleveland Cavaliers which saw him win the NBA title in 2016. He also played for Phoenix, Washington, Denver and Detroit in the NBA. McRae appeared in three games for Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz in the EuroLeague during the 2017-18 season and spent the 2020-21 season with the Beijing Ducks in China.
