Blayzer boasts experience in both the EuroCup and EuroLeague
Hapoel Tel Aviv tabs veteran forward Oz Blayzer
Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv continued its preparations for the 2024-25 season with the signing of veteran forward Oz Blayzer, the club announced on Saturday. Blayzer (2.00 meters, 31 years old) arrives from Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem, where he averaged 4.8 points and 3.2 rebounds in the Israeli League in a reserve role last season. Blayzer played in the EuroCup in 2019-20 with Maccabi Rishon Lezion. He debuted in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague the following season with Maccabi Tel Aviv. Blayzer appeared in a total of 46 EuroLeague games over two seasons with Maccabi.
Blayzer began his professional career with Hapoel Afula and also played for Bnei Herzliya and Maccabi Haifa. His trophy case includes three Israeli Cups – one with Rishon and two with Jerusalem – plus the 2021 Israeli championship won with Maccabi. He has also played dozens of times for the Israeli national team.
