Jerusalem adds shooting guard Jeremy Morgan
Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem reinforced its backcourt by signing shooting guard Jeremy Morgan, the club announced. The deal is for the 2024-25 season.
Morgan (1.96 meters, 29 years old) helped JL Bourg en Bresse reach the BKT EuroCup Finals last season in his second campaign in the competition. He averaged 10.0 points on 42.4% three-point shooting, 2.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.7 steals in 23 EuroCup games. Morgan was sixth in the competition in steals.
Morgan’s first EuroCup season came with Dolomiti Energia Trento in the 2020-21 season, when he averaged 10.0 points, 2.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.1 steals in 14 fixtures. A two-time Missouri Valley Conference All-Defensive Team selection while at the University of Northern Iowa, Morgan made his professional debut in the G-League with the Memphis Hustle in 2017-18.
He has since played for Kouvot Kouvola in Finland (2018-19), the Crailsheim Merlins in Germany (2019-20), Trento (2020-21) and Telekom Baskets Bonn (2021-23). Morgan helped Bonn win the 2023 Basketball Champions League.
