Jerusalem inks swingman Egor Koulechov to short-term deal

Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem announced on Monday that it signed swingman Egor Koulechov. The deal is for three months with an option for the remainder of the season. Koulechov (1.96 meters, 30 years old) started the season with Russian side Avtodor Saratov where he averaged 4.4 points on 37.2% three-point shooting and 2.2 rebounds in 16 VTB United League this season.
Born in Russia, Koulechov’s family moved to Israel when he was six years old and he has played professionally in the country for Maccabi Rishon Lezion, Hapoel Holon, Ironi Nahariya, Hapoel Tel Aviv and Hapoel Beersheba and in Russia for UNICS Kazan. He also played college basketball in the United States at Arizona State, Rica and Florida.
