Joventut Badalona added firepower to its roster by inking combo guard Andrew Andrews to a two-year deal, the club announced Monday. Andrews (1.88 meters, 30 years old) arrives from Frutti Extra Bursaspor, where he averaged 13.4 points and 2.3 assists in 10 Turkish League games last season. He started the 2022-23 campaign with Panathinaikos Athens and posted 8.3 points in four Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games.

Andrews had a fantastic 2021-22 7DAYS EuroCup season with Bursaspor, which he led all the way to the Final. He averaged 4.1 points in the first eight EuroCup games, but a change of roles gave him the opportunity to shine and Andrews took full advantage of it. He averaged 20.7 points for the remainder of the season, leading Bursaspor to consecutive road victories against Partizan Belgrade, Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana and MoraBanc Andorra to reach the championship game against Virtus Segafredo Bologna. Andrews has also played for Best Balikesir, Demir Insaat Buyukcekmece and Darussafaka Istanbul of Turkiye, as well as for VEF Riga of Latvia.
