Joventut brings in Kassius Robertson
Joventut Badalona has completed the signing of guard Kassius Robertson on a two-year deal, the club announced on Wednesday.
Robertson (1.87 meters, 30 years old) made his first Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut in 2023-24, averaging 4.1 points and 1.3 rebounds in 30 contests for Valencia Basket. Domestically, he boosted his averages to 8.6 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 23 games.
One season before, in 2022-23, he was the Spanish League's top scorer while playing for Obradoiro, posting 17.4 points per game across 25 appearances.
Robertson made his professional debut with German side Medi Bayreuth in 2018-19, then spent the 2019-20 campaign with Fortitudo Bologna in Italy before joining Obradoiro in the summer of 2020.
After a couple of years at Obradoiro, the Canadian started the 2022-23 season with Reggio Emilia in Italy, but he ended up returning to Obradoiro in December 2022. Then, last summer he signed for Valencia.
Now, Robertson heads to Joventut, the third team he will represent from Spain.
