Lietkabelis lands center Marco Pecarski
7bet-Lietkabelis Panevezys announced the signing of Serbian center Marco Pecarski for the 20024-25 season. Pecarski (2.08 meters, 24 years old) arrives from Yukatel Merkezefendi Bld. for which he posted 11.1 points and 5.6 rebounds per game in the Turkish League. He made 61.0% of his two pointers and 41.0% of his threes last season.
At Lietkabelis, Pecarski will be reunited with Coach Nenad Canak, who coached his during his first professional season with Partizan Belgrade in 2017-18. The big man played in the youth systems of Zemun and Mega before signing his first professional contract with Partizan. He took part in 18 EuroCup games during his two years with Partizan and also won a pair of Serbian Cups with the club. He later suited up for FMP and Borac Cacak in Serbia and for Mornar Bar in Montenegro before moving to Turkiye last season.
