The London Lions have brought home another one of the best players to come out of the British capital by signing Gabe Olaseni. The center has spent the last four seasons in Turkiye, including the last two with Darussafaka Istanbul. Olaseni (2.10 meters, 31 years old) averaged 12.7 points and 7.4 rebounds in 32 Turkish League games last season.
After going to high school and playing college basketball in the United States, Olaseni began his professional career in Germany with Brose Bamberg in 2015. He appeared in five Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games that season before moving on to Geissen. Olaseni has also suited up for Dinamo Sassari in Italy, Orleans in France, Fuenlabrada in Spain, Wurzburg in Germany and Bursaspor and Buyukcekmece in Turkey and been a key player for the British national team. He will make his EuroCup debut this season with London.
