Slask Wroclaw signed Canadian swingman Noah Kirkwood for the 2025–26 season

Slask snags scoring swingman Noah Kirkwood 

[Slask Wroclaw](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/teams/slask-wroclaw/roster/wro/) signed Canadian swingman Noah Kirkwood for the 2025–26 season, the club announced Wednesday.

Kirkwood (1.99 meters, 25 years old) arrives from Saint-Quentin in the French League, where he averaged 8.0 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.0 assists per game in 23 appearances last season.  It was his third professional season after spending the 2022-23 campaign with the Long Island Nets in the G League and then moving to Germany with Telekom Bonn.

He played college basketball for Harvard University and was named First-Team All-Ivy League in 2022. A native of Ottawa, Kirkwood represented Canada at the youth level. Kirkwood now brings size, scoring, and playmaking to the Slask backcourt in what will be his first season in the BKT EuroCup.

Panionios Athens signs Tyler Wahl

[Panionios Athens](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/teams/panionios-athens/roster/nio/) has bolstered its frontcourt with the signing of American forward Tyler Wahl, the club announced Tuesday. Wahl (2.02 meters, 24 years old) arrives from KK Zadar, where he completed a strong rookie campaign and helped the Croatian side capture the national championship.

In his debut professional season, Wahl averaged 10.4 points on 55.7% shooting, 5.5 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.0 steals in the ABA League. He was equally effective in the Croatian League, posting 10.3 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.1 steals per game in the regular season and raising the numbers to 12.9 points, 7.3 boards and 3.3 assists in the playoffs.

A product of the University of Wisconsin, Wahl played five seasons with the Badgers and became a fixture in the starting lineup, starting 121 of his 162 appearances. He averaged 8.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1 steal per game in NCAA competition, earning a reputation as a tough, two-way player with a high basketball IQ. Wahl now prepares for his BKT EuroCup debut with Panionios.

[Aris Thessaloniki](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/teams/aris-thessaloniki/roster/ari/) announced on Tuesday morning that it has signed small forward [Ronnie Harrell](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/players/ronnie-harrell/012716/) to a one year deal, with an option for another season. 

Harrell (2.01 meters, 29 years old) played for Aris in the 2023-24 season and left a mark as an all-round contributor and a great defender, having led the BKT EuroCup with 2.3 steals per game that campaign.

Last season, Harrell started with Samara in Russia, where he averaged 12.1 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.9 steals in VTB United League. Then he moved at the end of 2024 calendar year back to Greece with Maroussi Athens and posted 5.8 points and 4.1 rebounds in Greek League action.

Harrell was one of key players for Aris in his previous stint with the team. He averaged 26:27 minutes per game, and had 9.6 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists, along with the league-leading 2.3 steals two seasons ago.

Before Aris, he started his career in 2019 with Steaua Bucharest in Romania, before moving to Luxembourg to play for Etzella Ettelbruck where he dominated with 28.0 points and 9.9 rebounds in seven appearances. In 2020-21, he played for Palma in the Spanish second division, and ranked second in the league with both 16.1 points and 1.7 steals, then spent two seasons in Israel, first with Hapoel Galil Gilboa then Ironi Ness Ziona.

After playing for eight different clubs in six different countries over the past six seasons, Harrell now returns to familiar grounds, and back to the EuroCup.

London Lions continue to piece together a roster for team’s return to the BKT Eurocup, inking forward Joel Scott to a one year deal. Scott (2.01 meters, 24 years old) arrives to London from the German side Ludwigsburg, where he made his professional debut last season.

Scott possesses size and body frame to battle inside, and a shooting touch to score from long range. He posted 12.5 points and 5.5 rebounds in German League action, hitting a total of 42 triples in 32 appearances, but really took his performances to another level late in the regular season.

In late April and early May, Scott strung together five games in which he scored at least 20 points and pulled down at least 7 rebounds in each contest. He had two double-doubles during that span, and averaged 21.6 points and 9.0 rebounds in those five games, before finishing the season with a 15-point performance in just 13 minutes against the eventual champion FC Bayern Munich.

Scott also had those same averages, 12.5 points and 5.5 rebounds in 14 games in the Fiba Europe Cup last season, which has his first as a pro after a collegiate career that saw him play NCAA division II basketball at Black Hills State University, before playing his senior year at Colorado State.

He is now set to make his EuroCup debut.

London adds size and scoring with Joel Scott

Manresa inks shooting guard Alfonso Plummer

BAXI Manresa added a dangerous scoring weapon to its backcourt, announcing on Monday that guard [Alfonso Plummer](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/players/alfonso-plummer/012077/) will be wearing club's uniform in the upcoming season. Plummer (1.84 meters, 27 years old) played with ratiopharm Ulm last season, but is currently with Capitanes de Arecibo in his native Puerto Rico, posting 16.9 points, 2.9 assists and 2.9 rebounds in league games.

Last season with Ulm was Plummer's first full BKT EuroCup campaign. He appeared in 17 games, all but one off the bench, and averaged 11.4 points on 42.1% three-point shooting, along with 1.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists. Plummer averaged 2.4 triples per game, which was fifth best in the competition last season. He also scored 10.0 points in the German League, helping Ulm reach the playoff finals.

Plummer has previously played briefly in the EuroCup with Paris Basketball during the 2022-23 season, making three appearances. Plummer has also played professionally for Capitanes de Ciudad de Mexico in the G-League. Before that he played college basketball at Arizona Western College, the University of Utah and the University of Illinois.

This will be his third season in the EuroCup

Panionios brings center Nate Watson aboard

Panionios Athens announced on Monday the addition of center Nate Watson, who will play for the club on loan this season from the Spanish side Casademont Zaragoza.

Watson (2.08 meters, 26 years old) started last season in Greece with Karditsa, where he posted 14.9 points on 67.4% two-point shooting, 7.1 rebounds and 1.2 blocks. He moved to Zaragoza mid-season, but in a limited tole averaged 6.8 points and 2.1 rebounds.

Watson now returns to Greece, where he will make his BKT EuroCup debut. Panionios will be his fifth different team in his fourth professional season. A graduate of Providence College, Watson started his pro career in the Czech Republic with Nymburk, and also played with FMP Zeleznik in Serbia in the 2023–2024 campaign.

Lietkabelis completes roster with Lazar Mutic

Lietkabelis Panevezys announced it found the final piece of its roster puzzle for the upcoming season, signing big forward Lazar Mutic to a one-year deal. Mutic (2.04 meters, 26 years old) spent the last two years with Okapi Aalst in Belgium, and last season averaged 10.6 points, 6.8 rebounds.

A native of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mutic spent time in Real Madrid youth categories before joining UCAM Murcia where he mostly played for its second team for two seasons. Between 2019 and 2023, Mutic spent playing in Spanish lower division with five different clubs - Gipuzkoa San Sebastian, TAU Castello, Artes, Marbella and Almansa - before moving to Belgium.

“This is a basketball player who is much more focused on team play than on individual performances", says Lietkabelis sports director Lukas Grabauskas. "We hope that the adaptation will go smoothly and Lazar will be able to reveal his potential. This is the last signing of players this summer and we can announce that the lineup for the upcoming season is complete."

This would be a fun game to watch, right? The 2013 team has some nice balance. Nick Calathes is an ideal playmaker and a defensive hound. Malcolm Delaney is the go-to scorer, while Kostas Vasileiadis stretches the floor with his ace shooting. John Bryant could bang with anybody and was a pretty good outside shooter, too. Justin Doellman, as a modern stretch-4, completes this sturdy lineup.

The 2024 team is led by T.J. Shorts, who we have all seen in the EuroLeague this season just how dangerous he can be at the highest levels. Matt Morgan complements him as a great shot-maker, while Isiaha Mike is an athletic do-it-all small forward. Between Trevion Williams and Gabriel Olaseni, the 2024 side has size and strength inside, not to mention great passing skills and rebounding chops.

Head-to-head, the 2024 team has the advantage in size, speed and athleticism. Team 2013's only real chance would be through shooting – and it does have some great shooters, but I don't think that would be enough to win this battle. I like Team 2024. Let's see if you agree…
