Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv announced on Monday that has signed forward [Ben Bentil](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/ben-bentil/009818/) for the coming season. Bentil (2.04 meters, 29 years old), who has four seasons of Turkish Airlines EuroLeague experience under his belt, spent last season in Japan with the Gunma Crane Thunder where he averaged 17.0 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.

In two seasons with Panathinaikos Athens and another each with EA7 Emporio Armani Milan and Crvena Zvezda Belgrade, Bentil has appeared in 107 EuroLeague games of which he started 40. He averaged 6.0 points on 37.4% three-point shooting and 2.8 rebounds over 15:35 per game. Bentil’s best EuroLeague season came with Zvezda in 2022-23 when he tallied 8.4 points and 3.8 rebounds in 30 games.

Bentil also amassed a slew of trophies with those teams, winning Greek League championships in 2020 and 2021, the Italian League and Cup double in 2022 and the Serbian League and Cup double in 2023.

A native of Ghana, Bentil moved to the United States when he was 15 to play high school basketball and then played college basketball at Providence College. He began his professional career in the G-League with Fort Wayne in the G-League, played briefly for the Xinjiang Flying Tigers in China and then the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA. He then went on to play for Chalons-Reims in France, Bilbao Basket in Spain, Peristeri in Greece and Bahcesehir Koleji in Türkiye.

Mincidelice JL Bourg en Bresse has signed big man Adrian Nelson for the coming season, the club announced on Sunday. 

Nelson (2.03 meters, 24 years old) arrives from Bamberg in Germany where he averaged 12.8 points and 5.9 rebounds in 34 games in the German League last season. It was his first season as a professional basketball player after playing college basketball at Northern Kentucky University for four seasons and for Youngstown State University for a fifth.  Nelson ranked second in the Horizon League in rebounding with Youngstown State for the 2022-23 season with 9.4 per game.

Turk Telekom Ankara added experience and firepower by inking playmaker Max Heidegger, the club announced Saturday. 

Heidegger (1.91 meters, 27 years old) arrive from Umana Reyer Venice, where he averaged 12.2 points on 52.4% three-pointers and 2.2 assists in four BKT EuroCup games last season. He started the 2023-24 campaign with Windy city of the G League, averaging 12.9 points and 3.6 assists in 10 games. Heidegger started his professional basketball career with Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv, and also played for another Israeli team, Bnei Hertzeliya, before joining German side EWE Baskets Oldenburg. He also played for Merkezefendi Belediyesi Denizli Basket of Turkiye and Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz, where he averaged 8.8 points and 3.6 assists in 17 Spanish League games in the 2022-23 season. Heidegger has also been a member of the Israeli national team.

Aris adds power forward Nate Laszewski

Aris Midea Thessaloniki bolstered its frontcourt by signing power forward Nate Laszewski to a one-year deal, the club announced Saturday. 

Laszewski (2.08 meters, 24 years old) arrives from Happy Casa Brindisi, where he averaged 8.8 points and 3.9 rebounds in 30 Italian League games last season, ranking second in three-point shooting (46.4% 3FG). He posted better numbers in the FIBA Europe Cup, averaging 10.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in 4 games. Brindisi was the first stop in his professional basketball career. Before that, Laszewski played for the University of Notre Dame for five seasons. He is expected to make his EuroCup debut with Aris next season.

Reyer tabs guard Davide Moretti 

Umana Reyer Venice added experience to its backcourt by inking guard Davide Moretti to a two-year deal, the club announced Saturday. 

Moretti (1.90 meters, 26 years old) arrives from Itelyum Varese, where he averaged 12.1 points on 41.9% three-pointers, 3.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 28 Italian League games last season. He started his career with Stella Azzurra of his native Italy and also played for Giorgio Tesi Group Pistoia and Treviso Basket 2012 before joining Texas Tech University. Moretti went on to play for EA7 Emporio Armani Milan, where he made his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut in the 2020-21 season, and Carpegna Proscuiutto Basket Pesaro before joining Varese in 2023. Moretti has also been a member of the Italian national team. He helped Milan win the Italian League in 2021 and made it to the NCAA Tournament championship game with Texas Tech in 2019, scoring 15 points in an 77-85 overtime loss against Virginia.

Valencia signs guard Brancou Badio 

Valencia Basket strengthened its roster by inking guard Brancou Badio to a three-year deal, the club announced Saturday. 

Badio (1.91 meters, 25 years old) arrives from Basquet Manresa, where he played for recently signed head coach Pedro Martinez in each of the last two seasons. He averaged 13.8 points and 2.4 assists in 26 Spanish League games last season, helping Manresa reach the playoffs. Badio started his career with Canarias Basketball Academy and also played for FC Barcelona also of Spain and Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt of Germany before joining Manresa in 2022. He helped Barca win the Spanish League title in 2021, but spent the majority of the 2020-21 season with the team's third division squad. Badio has also been a member of the Senegalese national team, helping it get a bronze medal at AfroBasket 2022. He is set to make his BKT EuroCup debut with Valencia next season.

Besiktas Fibabanka Istanbul signed center [Emanuel Terry](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/players/emanuel-terry/010652/) to a one-year deal, the club announced on Friday. Terry (2.06 meters, 27 years old) arrives from a fellow Turkish side Manisa where he averaged 12.8 points and 8.5 rebounds in the Turkish League action.

Terry, who will be making his BKT EuroCup debut, has had quite a journey in his career so far.

He turned pro in the 2018-19 season in which he played in the G-League with Canton and Sioux Falls, while also appearing in a game apiece with NBA sides Phoenix Suns and Miami Heat. The next season was his first stint in Europe, with Bandirma in Turkey and Hapoel Jerusalem in Israel, then joined Crvena Zvezda Belgrade for the first part of the 2020-21 season, where he made his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut, too.

Terry finished that season in the G-League with Ontario, then the season after played with Stockton in the G-League and made three more appearance in the NBA with the Suns. He finished 2021-22 in France with Orleans, then moved to South Korean club Seoul for the first part of 2022-23. He played second part of that campaign in Italy, first with Trieste then Udine. Last season with Manisa was the first in Terry's career that he started and finished with the same club.

Mantzoukas (2.07 meters, 21 years old) appeared in 14 EuroLeague games last season, totaling 27 points and 14 rebounds in just over 7 minutes per game, helping Panathinaikos to climb the EuroLeague throne. He has seen more opportunities in the Greek League, playing 20 games and posting 3.8 points and 2.0 rebounds on the way to winning the domestic championship.

Mantzoukas's top plays in 2023-24

That was his third season with the Greens, where he joined in the summer of 2021. Over that span, he played in 53 EuroLeague games.

Prior to joining Panathinaikos, Mantzoukas played for Promitheas Patras, the team where he grew up. He played in a pair of EuroCup seasons, including making his debut as a 16-year-old in 2019-20. In 13 career appearances in the EuroCup, Mantzoukas has averaged 4.9 points and 1.6 rebounds.

Veolia Towers Hamburg announced the arrival of small forward Jared Grey, who signed a three-year deal with his new club on Friday.

Grey (2.01 meters, 19 years old) arrives from Team Ehingen Uprising, where he averaged 9.2 points and 2.6 rebounds in 22 German third division games last season. He has also been a member of the German U18 national team, helping it get a bronze medal at the 2023 U18 European Championships. Gray has the chance to make his BKT EuroCup debut with Hamburg next season. "Jared already trained in Rist in the spring and made a very good impression," Hamburg managing director of sport Marvin Willoughby said. "He showed himself to be very hungry and together with our cooperation partner from Wedel, we are of the opinion that he will find the best conditions for his personal development here in Hamburg."
