Euroleague Basketball will coordinate with the affected teams the best options to reschedule the games. Alternative dates will be announced on official Euroleague Basketball platforms.

Finding itself in a must-win situation, Promitheas Patras used one of its best offensive performances of the season to beat visiting Mincidelice JL Bourg en Bresse on Wednesday and improve its chances of qualifying for the EuroCup playoffs.

Promitheas clicked on offense in attempt to 'restart'

Entering this week on a five-game losing streak and sitting at the bottom of the standings in Group B with only two victories, Promitheas needed to win not only to catch up with the rest of the teams in the standings, but also to avoid a sweep against Bourg.

In preparation for the game, rather than going after drastic changes, knowing that his team lost four of its last five games by double-digit margins, Promitheas head coach Ilias Zorous opted for something else. A search for a clean slate. Or as Zorous publicly put it – a restart.

"We needed to win this game", veteran forward Dimitris Agravanis said after the game. "Coach said as the main direction for this game is one word: restart. We did it. Now we need to start winning."

Coming into the game having failed to score more than 72 points in six straight games, and shooting below 30% from behind the arc on the season, Promitheas finally clicked offensively.

The team moved the ball well, dishing 27 assists, including 10 by backup point guard Nikolaos Gkikas. It helped the team get open looks, and for a change, make the shots. Promitheas nailed 12 three-point shots, which was only the second time this season it made a double-digit number of three-pointers. Unstoppable in this department was mid-season addition Trevis Simpson. In only his second game with the club, Simpson knocked down 5-of-6 threes.

Yes, there were moments when Promitheas gave the visitors a chance for a late-game comeback. However, led by Simpson, Agravanis, Gkikas and Kendrick Ray, the team prevailed.

In doing so, they were reminded of what they are capable of doing. And if this team continues to perform like it did on Wednesday, a 'restart' it will truly turn out to be, and more wins will surely come Promitheas's way.

Theodore shows why Reyer reeled him in

Theodore had a strong showing in his EuroCup season debut for the Italian side, amassing 13 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists and 1 steal in Reyer’s 89-79 victory over ratiopharm Ulm. The 32-year-old missed all three of his three-point attempts but managed a performance index rating of 13 in nearly 29 minutes of action.

A number of Theodore’s actions came in big moments. Ulm had reeled off a 5-19 run to knot the game at 35-35 in the second quarter. The guard’s response was a three-point play to get Reyer back on track.

Ulm drained a pair of three-pointers early in the fourth quarter to get the gap down to 8 points. Theodore came to the rescue again with two straight baskets to push the advantage up to 76-64.

Later in the final frame, Ulm got a four-point play and three-pointer in a 0-9 surge to pull within 81-75. Theodore received the ball and got past his defender for a layup and 8-point lead with 2:36 remaining. Ulm did get closer than 6 points the rest of the way.

Theodore is a major addition for Reyer - as he showed already against Ulm. The Italian side hopes the veteran playmaker can have a similar impact to what he achieved in his most recent EuroCup campaign.

Theodore helped UNICS Kazan reach the finals last season to qualify for the 2021-22 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague. He averaged 6.4 points and 4.1 assists in 16 games last season with UNICS, including 15.0 points and 7.0 assists for an average PIR of 24.5 in the finals against AS Monaco.

Theodor has EuroLeague experience in the form of one season with AX Armani Exchange Milan in 2017-18. He has also experienced so many levels of the game through his basketball journey which has seen him play in Italy, Russia, Turkey, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, France, Germany and Greece.

With his team depleted, trailing and in need of an offensive spark, Hamburg Towers guard Jaylon Brown stepped up and delivered in his team's 78-85 win at MoraBanc Andorra on Wednesday night, earning his first MVP of the Round honor in the process.

Brown netted 32 points, the most by a Hamburg player in the team's first season in the competition, while he also matched the EuroCup's season high with 7 three-pointers made on 15 attempts. Brown also went 2-for-4 on two-pointers and 7-for-9 from the free throw line. He added 6 assists, 4 rebounds and 3 steals, while drawing 7 fouls in 39 minutes on the floor. His resulting performance index rating of 34 was the highest among all players on winning teams in Round 12. Virtus Segafredo Bologna center Mam Jaiteh also had a PIR of 34, but that came in his team's loss against Buducnost VOLI Podgorica. Jaiteh collected 19 points plus 12 rebounds, 3 blocks, 1 assist and 1 steal. The next-best PIR, 33, belonged to Will Cummings of Boulogne Metropolitans 92, who flirted with a triple-double, collecting 20 points, 9 assists and 9 rebounds in his team's 95-92 win over his former team, Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar. Rounding out the list of this round's top performers were four players matching PIRs of 30 each: Yogi Ferrell of Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana, Mathias Lessort of Partizan NIS Belgrade, Travis Trice of Slask Wroclaw and Martynas Echodas of Umana Reyer Venice.

Lokomotiv guard Errick McCollum is the overall top scorer with 22.3 points per game. Mam Jaiteh of Virtus Segafredo Bologna and Bojan Dubljevic of Valencia Basket each had 12 rebounds, the most in Round 12. Kerem Kanter of Slask Wroclaw leads the league in rebounding with 8.7 per game. Nikolaos Gkikas of Promitheas Patras had 10 assists, more than any other player this round. Virtus playmaker Milos Teodosic leads the competition, averaging 8.1 assists. Maximilian Di Leo of Hamburg and Erdi Gulaslan of Turk Telekom Ankara each had 4 steals to lead all players in Round 12. Derek Needham of Frutti Extra Bursaspor tops the steals charts this season with 2.1 steals per game. Slask big man Aleksander Dziewa was the top shot blocker of the round with 4 blocks. Turk Telekom's Octavius Ellis leads the Eurocup with 1.7 blocks per game.

Jaylon Brown of Hamburg Towers led all players in Round 12 with 32 points, just one shy of the 7DAYS EuroCup season high.
