Umana Reyer Venice has announced that Jordan Parks has signed a new contract at the club until the end of the 2026-27 season.

[Umana Reyer Venice](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/teams/umana-reyer-venice/vnc/) has announced that [Jordan Parks](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/players/jordan-parks/011909/) has signed a new contract at the club until the end of the 2026-27 season.

Parks (2.01 meters, 31 years old) has been at Reyer since 2022, and all three of his seasons in the BKT EuroCup have come with the Italian side. During the 2024-25 campaign, he averaged 10.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 0.9 steals in 16 EuroCup appearances.

The Reyer vice-captain has played 42 times in the EuroCup over the last three seasons, posting career averages of 9.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 0.9 steals.

Prior to joining Reyer, Parks suited up for Trieste (2015-17), Telekom Baskets Bonn (2017-18), Orlandina (2018-19), Treviso (2019-20) and Napoli (2020-22). Of the 10 seasons the American forward has played as a professional, nine have been in Italy.

[U-BT Cluj-Napoca](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/teams/u-bt-cluj-napoca/roster/clu/) has announced the signing of former EuroLeague champion [Ben Altit](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/eurocup/players/ben-altit/profile/002875/) for the 2025-26 season. 

Altit (2.08 meters, 32 years old) arrives from a fellow Romanian side Rapid Bucharest, where he averaged 9.1 points and 4.1 rebounds in domestic league action last season. It was first season in Romania for the veteran center, who had spent more than a decade playing pro basketball in his native Israel.

A product of the Maccabi Tel Aviv youth system, Altit played one season of college basketball at Bryant University before returning to Israel with Bnei Hasharon for the 2012-13 season. He then rejoined Maccabi and made his EuroLeague debut in the 2013-2014 campaign.

All three EuroLeague games that Altit played in the 2013-14 season came during the Top 16 phase, as he helped Maccabi on its journey to winning the 2014 EuroLeague crown. Altit also won the Israeli League championships with Maccabi that season.

During both of those years with Maccabi, he also spent time in the Israeli second division with Elitzur Ramla and Ironi Ramat Gan. In the summer of 2015, Altit moved on to play at Maccabi Kiryat Gat. He later suited up for Maccabi Ashdod, Hapoel Galil Gilboa, Maccabi Rishon LeZion, Elitzur Ashkelon and again Ironi Ramat Gan before joining Rapid last summer.

Altit is now set to make his BKT EuroCup debut with the ambitious Cluj.

Scottie Wilbekin straight up had one of the great EuroCup seasons in 2017-18. And the team around him isn’t too shabby. Quino Colom was a heady playmaker and Amedeo Della Valle a craft passer and dangerous shooter. Ryan Broekhoff made 50.6% of his threes and big Devin Booker put up some nice numbers in the paint. On paper, 2018 is a great team.

The 2014 guys are a little longer and more athletic. Vladimir Golubovic had one of the great seasons for a big man with 12 double-doubles in 20 games. At forward Justin Doellman was a mismatch as a stretch-4 and could be overpowering as a small forward who crashed the boards. Andrew Goudelock was an elite scorer at the peak of his power and DeMarcus Nelson would be the perfect package at point guard to balance them all.

This matchup could be decided by the team that gets hot from deep and 2018 has the better shooters. But if they had anything less than a stellar night, they would be in trouble. 2014 is bigger and stronger. I would think 2014 would control the rebounds and find plenty of ways to score… and thus is my winner. Who do you like?

Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem has added promising Israeli guard Roy Paretsky on a one-year deal for the 2025-26 season

Hapoel Jerusalem inks Roy Paretsky

[Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/teams/hapoel-jerusalem/roster/jer/) has added promising Israeli guard Roy Paretsky on a one-year deal for the 2025-26 season.

Paretsky (1.94 meters, 22 years old) is the team’s first domestic signing of the summer. He arrives from Elitzur Briga Netanya, where he average 8.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.0 steals per game last season. Paretsky began his career with Elitzur Netanya and went on to shine at Hapoel Be’er Sheva, where he was named the 2023 Israeli League rising star. He has played for the Israeli national team at the junior and senior levels, including the U20 team that finished fourth at the 2022 European Championship.

“Roy will bring us a lot of defensive toughness and his offensive potential is sky-high,” Coach Yonatan Alon said. “He has size and tools that are very hard to find in Israeli guards – or anywhere. I’m excited to have him with us and I’m sure our fans will love his hunger and willingness to do whatever it takes for the team.”

The shooting guard will play in the BKT EuroCup for the first time

Buducnost Voli Podgorica added more size in its paint by inking big man Jerry Boutsiele for the upcoming season, the club announced Monday. Boutsiele last played with Dubai Basketball where in the second part of last season he averaged 9.0 points and 5.2 rebounds in ABA League action.

Boutsiele (2.07 meters, 32 years old) last played with Dubai Basketball where in the second part of last season he averaged 9.0 points and 5.2 rebounds in ABA League action.

Veteran big man started last season with Pinar Karisayaka where he averaged 11.2 points and 5.8 rebounds in the Turkish League, as well as 9.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in six Basketball Champions League appearances.

Boutsiele has 26 career games in BKT EuroCup, all with Limoges CSP in 2018 and 2019, during which he posted 6.5 points and 4.8 rebounds. He also spent a season in the EuroLeague, the 2021-22 campaign with AS Monaco, when he posted 1.8 points and 2.6 rebounds in 16 limited appearances.

Boutsiele started his career with Nanterre 92's junior teams in his native France, and also played for several other French teams such as Souffelweyersheim, SPO Rouen Basket, Denain ASC Voltaire and Cholet Basket before joining Limoges in 2018. 

After Monaco, he spent two years in Türkiye, with Merkezefendi and season and a half with Bahcesehir.

Boutsiele has also been a member of the French national team.

Mitchell (1.98 meters, 26 years old) has spent last season in the EuroLeague with Zalgiris Kaunas, but now returns to the EuroCup where he shined for Besiktas Istanbul in the 2023-24 campaign.

Last season, Mitchell made his EuroLeague debut averaging 3.2 points and 2.3 rebounds in a role off the bench in 29 appearances. In the Lithuanian League, he posted 6.7 points and 2.6 rebounds, helping Zalgiris win the championship.

Mitchell made his EuroCup debut in the 2023-24 campaign with Besiktas, when he averaged 12.5 points, 4.9 rebounds in 21 games, helping the team reach the semifinals. He was remembered for his performance in one-and-done quarterfinals, when he recorded 22 points and 6 rebounds during Besiktas’s victory against Hapoel Tel Aviv.

Michell played college ball at San Diego State University from 2017 to 2021. After that he took part in the NBA Summer League with San Antonio but that summer he moved to France to join Strasbourg. He tried again for the NBA playing with Denver in the 2022 Summer League, but he was back to Strasbourg for another season, before joining Besiktas.

The guard returns to Istanbul after a year in the EuroLeague with Zalgiris

Besiktas adds depth with Canberk Kus

Besiktas Gain Istanbul announced on Monday the signing of small forward Canberk Kus for the upcoming season. Kus (1.98 meters, 28 years old) played with a fellow Turkish side Mersin last season, averaging 5.7 points and 3.1 rebounds in the Turkish League action.

After finishing his college career at Arkansas State University, Kus started his professional career in 2020 in his native Turkey with Petkimspor. The next season he moved to Galatasaray Istanbul, then spent a year and a half in the same city, but with Darussafaka.

Kus is now set to make his BKT EuroCup debut with another team from the city on Bosporus Strait.

Besiktas GAIN Istanbul continued building its roster for the 2025–26 season by signing playmaker Devon Dotson, who arrives from Joventut Badalona

Besiktas signs point guard Devon Dotson

[Besiktas GAIN Istanbul](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/teams/besiktas-istanbul/roster/bes/) continued building its roster for the 2025–26 season by signing playmaker [Devon Dotson](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/players/devon-durrell-dotson/013285/), who arrives from Joventut Badalona.

Dotson (1.88 meters, 24 years old) made his European debut last season with Joventut and made an immediate impact in both the Spanish League and the BKT EuroCup. He appeared in 16 EuroCup games, averaging 13.7 points, 2.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.0 steals.

Best of Devon Dotson: 2024-25

Dotson played college basketball at the University of Kansas, where he averaged 18.1 points and 4.0 assists in his sophomore season. He began his professional career with the Chicago Bulls and also played in the NBA for the Washington Wizards as well as in the G-League for the Windy City Bulls, Canton Charge and Capital City Go-Go before crossing the Atlantic to join Joventut last summer.

Dotson brings speed, playmaking and scoring instincts to the Besiktas backcourt as the team prepares for a new EuroCup campaign.

This 2012 team was full of players on the rise – and they all play roles that would mesh together well. Beverley emerged as a superstar point guard. Seibutis – only 26 at the time – was a made free throw away from a 50-40-90 season. Planinic can run the offense. Caner-Medley is a hustle player who can stretch the floor, crash the glass. And Valanciunas is an old-school back-to-the-basket threat. What’s more, this a good defensive team from Beverley hounding the ball handlers to Valanciunas blocking shots.

To say that the 2016 team did not fill out its roles as well would be untrue. However, Omic (despite a brilliant offensive season) is not the same scoring threat as Valanciunas and Collins not as consistent a performer as his counterparts. Yes there is great scoring with McCollum and a great glue guy in Micov, but head to head, the 2016 team might struggle in this matchup.
