Valencia Basket has confirmed that Pedro Martinez, the 2024-25 BKT EuroCup Coach of the Year, has renewed his contract until the end of the 2026-27 season.
Coach Martinez, in his first year back at Valencia, helped the team reach the EuroCup Semifinals this season before falling 2-1 in its best-of-three series with Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv.
Under his leadership, Valencia posted a EuroCup-best 16-2 record in the regular season to top Group B, then downed U-BT Cluj-Napoca in the quarterfinals.
The 63-year-old has a 96-37 record in the EuroCup across four clubs: Dreamland Gran Canaria (2003-05; 2009-12), Estudiantes (2005-06), Girona (2007-08) and Valencia (2015-17; 2024-present).
