Frutti Extra Bursaspor shocked a packed Stark Arena in the Serbian capital by downing host Partizan NIS Belgrade 95-103 in their eighthfinals clash on Wednesday night.

Bursaspor made club history by earning a place in the quarterfinals where it will play on the road at Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana. Bursaspor led for the majority of the game, but was down 5 points with 14 seconds to go in regulation. John Holland made a triple with 7.1 seconds left in regulation that sent the game into overtime. In the extra session, Partizan went up 89-87 only for Bursaspor to go on a 0-10 run to seal the outcome. Andrew Andrews led Bursaspor with 24 points, 10 assists and 8 rebounds, and Onuralp Bitim had 20 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Holland finished with 17 points on 4-for-5 three-point shooting, David Dudzinski scored 15 and Derek Needham 14 in the victory. Aleksa Avramovic had 23 points and 6 assists, while Mathias Lessort collected 20 points plus 8 rebounds in the losing effort for Partizan, which suffered its first home loss of the season. Kevin Punter netted 13 points and Zach LeDay collected 11 points plus rebounds in defeat.

Balsa Koprivica dunked 5 seconds after the tip-off, but Bitim knocked down a pair of triples to give the visitors an early 4-6 lead. Dudzinski scored 5 points, including a three-point play that put the visitors up 8-11. The hosts answered with 5 straight points as Koprivica had another dunk and a triple from Dallas Moore put the hosts in front. Andrews scored on a fast break, and Avramovic made a tough runner to make it 15-14. But Needham made back-to-back triples, including one he banked in, before Avramovic finished the first quarter with a three-point play that made it 20-20.
Tristan Vukcevic opened the second with a jumper, and Madar drove for a layup, but Bitim and Dudzinski replied before Uros Trifunovic and Holland traded three-pointers, tying it at 27-27. Avramovic made a tough layup and a triple, but Dudzinski had a fastbreak dunk and Holland a dunk-and-1 to tie it at 32-32. Zach LeDay's triple restored Partizan's lead once again, but a layup from Dudzinski and a transition three from Andrews put the visitors in front 35-37. However, a second-chance three-pointer from Moore gave Partizan a slim 38-37 halftime lead.
Andrews scored the first 4 points of the second half and after Punter made a triple-and-one, Bursaspor went on a 0-10 run, sparked by Bitim, with Needham and Kevarrius Hayes scoring inside. Andrews's baseline jumper opened a 42-51 margin. Avramovic ended the hosts' drought with a driving layup before Punter sank back-to-back three-pointers to bring Partizan within 51-53 midway through the quarter. Hayes had a dunk and Bitim a jumper to give the visitors breathing room. Holland scored from long range to make it 53-60. Andrews took it to the rim, but Avramovic bettered him with a runner-plus-free throw to finish the quarter at 60-64.
Andrews made a basket to open the fourth, but a dunk from Lessort and a triple from Avramovic cut the margin to a single point before a fastbreak basket from Madar put Partizan ahead 67-66. Lessort had a put-back dunk, but Needham and Metih Turen nailed back-to-back threes to give the visitors a 69-72 edge. After a timeout, LeDay answered with a three-pointer and Madar followed with a three-point play to make it 75-72. Dudzinski scored a layup, but Lessort had back-to-back monster dunks to make it 79-74. Needham kept Bursaspor alive with a triple 60 seconds before the end. Avramovic drove the lane for a layup, and Partizan made 3 of 4 free throws, but Andrews and Bitim scored inside. Bursaspor forced a turnover that allowed Holland to make a triple with 7.1 seconds and send the game into overtime.
In the extra session, LeDay made a triple, and Lessort had a dunk to make it 89-87, but the visitors went on a 0-10 run during which Andrews and Holland made back-to-back threes and Bitim capped it with a dunk. Lessort had two more put-backs, but Bursaspor closed out the game.
