Umana Reyer Venice strengthened its frontcourt with a champion by signing big man Amedeo Tessitori, the club announced on Thursday. Tessitori (2.08 meters, 27 years old) arrives from Virtus Segafredo Bologna with which he averaged 4.8 points and 2.9 rebounds in 18 appearances in the 7DAYS EuroCup last season to help his team take the crown. In the first of his two seasons with Virtus, Tessitori won the Italian League championship, too.
