Umana Reyer Venice kept another player from last year's roster by agreeing on another one-year deal with forward Giga Janelidze, the club announced on Tuesday.
Janelidze (2.01 meters, 29 years old) has seen limited action last season, having appeared in just four BKT EuroCup games and seven Italian League games.
A native of Georgia, Janelidze is a power forward who is known for his defense and hustle on the court, as well as being a great locker room presence. He grew up with Rimini and has spent most of his career in the Italian lower divisions.
He helped Trieste get promoted to the Italian League in 2018 and also played with Staff Mantova, Orzinuovi, Avellino, Jesi, Roseto, Urania Milano and Casalpusterlengo.
