Dolomiti Energia Trento legend Toto Forray etched his name into BKT EuroCup history when he took the court against ratiopharm Ulm on Tuesday night.
That appearance made him the EuroCup’s all-time leader in games played with 145. Forray, 38, takes the record away from three-time champion and Valencia Basket great Rafa Martinez.
Forray, a native of Argentina, has spent the vast majority of his career with Trento, which he joined in 2011 when it was in Italy’s third division. He helped the club climb all the way to Italy’s top flight and has been Trento’s captain since 2016.
In nine EuroCup seasons, Forray has amassed 944 points on 237 triples, 282 assists and 154 steals. He entered Tuesday’s game ranked fourth in career steals, 30th in assists, 32nd in three-pointers made and 41st in points scored.
