Turk Telekom brings in Kyle Alexander
Turk Telekom Ankara bolstered its frontline with the signing of center Kyle Alexander, the club announced Thursday. Alexander (2.08 meters, 27 years old) arrives from Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv, where he averaged 10.6 points and a PIR of 16.9. in 10 EuroCup games last season. He ranked fifth overall in rebounds (7.4 rpg.) and third in blocked shots (1.5 bpg.). Alexander helped Hapoel reach the EuroCup Quarterfinals and the Israeli League finals.
Alexander started his professional career with the Miami Heat in the NBA and also played for Sioux Falls of the G-League, as well as Baloncesto Fuenlabrada and Valencia Basket in Spain before joining Hapoel in the summer of 2023. He made his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut with Valencia in the 2022-23 season and averaged 5.7 points and 3.1 rebounds.
As a member of the Canadian national team, Alexander won a bronze medal at the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup.
