Forward Vladimir Micov put an end to a long and successful career by announcing his retirement on Sunday. Micov, 37, played a total 15 seasons in Euroleague Basketball competitions, 10 of them in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and 5 in the 7DAYS EuroCup.
Micov started his pro career in OKK Belgrade of his native Serbia, but soon signed for Buducnost Podgorica of Montenegro, where he made his EuroCup debut in 2007. In 2009 ha made his EuroLeague debut with Baksonia Vitoria-Gasteiz. He also played in Cantu, CSKA Moscow, Galatasaray Istanbul and AX Armani Exchange Milan, before returning to where it all started, to play his final season: at Buducnost to play the EuroCup.
