BKT EuroCup newcomer Wolves Vilnius have signed forward Treshawn Thurman, the club announced on Sunday. The deal is for one season with an option for a second. Thurman (2.01 meters, 27 years old) arrives from Filou Oostende, which he helped to the Belgian League finals last season. He averaged 8.0 points and 3.2 rebounds over 36 games in a reserve role last season.
The season in Belgium was Thurman’s first in Europe. After playing college basketball at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and the University of Nevada at Reno, Thurman began his professional career in the G League with the Grand Rapids Drive. He also spent one season in the G League with the Stockton Kings and he played for Omaha's Finest in The Basketball League.
