LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne has announced the addition of veteran point guard Dee Bost until the end of the season. Bost (1.88 meters, 33 years old) arrives from Galatasaray Istanbul of Turkey, where he averaged 11.1 points, 2.3 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 1.2 steals in 14 Turkish League games this season. Bost has three campaigns of Turkish Airlines EuroLeague experience under his belt, having represented Zielona Gora of Poland in 2015-16, Zalgiris Kaunas in 2017-18 and Khimki Moscow Region in 2018-19. Across 39 games in Europe's premier club basketball competition, Bost has averaged 7.2 points and 2.9 assists.

In addition to his EuroLeague experience, Bost has also played in the 7DAYS EuroCup for Buducnost of Montenegro in 2012-13, Zielona in 2015-16 and AS Monaco in 2019-20 and 2020-21. He was a starter in the Monaco team that lifted the EuroCup trophy in 2021. In 62 games in the competition, Bost has scored a total of 707 points and dished 246 assists, giving him averages of 11.4 points and 4.0 assists per contest. Bost's other professional experience comes from his time with Idaho of the G League (2013-14), Trotamundos of Venezuela (2014), Trabzonspor of Turkey (2014-15) and Strasbourg of France (2017-18). One and a half years after last playing in France, he is now back in the country for a third spell, this time with ASVEL.
