Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz reached a new agreement with small forward Sander Raieste to keep working together next season, the club announced Friday. Raieste (2.04 meters, 25 years old) joined Baskonia's academy in 2016 and has been a member of its first team roster since the start of the 2020-21 season. Last season, Raieste averaged 0.9 points and 0.6 rebounds in 30 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games, helping his team qualify for the playoffs.
He has also played for Audentese SG Noortelkoondis and BC Kaleb Cramo of his native Estonia, as well as for Fundación 5+11 of Spain. Raieste has also been a member of the Estonian national team. In 69 EuroLeague career games with Baskonia, Raieste averages 1.1 points and 0.9 rebounds.
