FC Bayern Munich has added another weapon to its frontcourt by inking center Elias Harris to a two-year deal, the club announced on Tuesday. Harris (2.03 meters, 32 years old) arrives from San-en-NeoPhoenix, where he averaged 17.5 points and 6.6 rebounds in 43 Japanese League games last season.

He began his career with SG Bad Duerkheim Speyer of his native Germany before joining Gonzaga University, where he played college basketball for four years. Harris has also played for Los Angeles Lakers of the NBA, South Bay Lakers of the G-League, Brose Bamberg and MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg of Germany, and Casademont Zaragoza of Spain. He has also been a member of the German national team. Harris helped Bamberg win three consecutive German League titles between 2015 and 2017, as well as the German Cup in 2019.
