Bayern adds Wimberg

FC Bayern Munich has added big man [Jan-Niklas Wimberg](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/eurocup/players/jan-wimberg/005478/) to its roster on a two-year contract, the club confirmed on Sunday. Wimberg (2.06 meters, 26 years old) arrives from NINERS Chemnitz of the German League, where he averaged 6.4 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 26 games last season.

Wimberg made his professional debut with Oldenburger in 2012-13, and after a couple of seasons there he signed for EWE Baskets, where he played for the next three seasons. Wimberg played two seasons in the 7DAYS EuroCup with EWE Basketsm for a total of 11 games. He will make his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut in 2022-23.
