Achille Polonara is ready to make his long-awaited return to the court this Wednesday night after completing his chemotherapy treatment, which is great news for everyone associated with Virtus Segafredo Bologna. During the club’s media day, which came before the discovery of Polonara’s testicular tumor in early October, the Italian forward sat down with Virtus teammate Daniel Hackett as part of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague’s Bromance Quiz.
Curiously, this is the first season that Polonara and Hackett are teammates at club level, although they have been through many battles together with the Italian national team. As such, it’s fair to say that they know quite a lot about each other.
