The versatile wing led the Bulgarian League in scoring last season
Bulgarian star Borislav Mladenov joins Hapoel on long-term deal

Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv has signed Bulgarian forward Borislav Mladenov to a multi-year deal that runs through the end of the 2027–28 season, the club announced on Sunday. The high-scoring wing will join the team for preseason training and undergo a full evaluation ahead of the new campaign.
Mladenov (2.02 meters, 25 years old) led the Bulgarian League in scoring last season with 21.2 points per game, while splitting time between Minyor Pernikin and Levski Sofia. He played 16 games for Minyor where he was coached by his father, Bulgarian basketball legend Georgi Mladenov. When his father left, Borislav did too and joined Levski for the remainder of the season. He also ranked fifth in the league with 1.4 blocks per game, sixth with 7.5 rebounds, seventh with 1.7 steals and ninth with 3.5 assists last season.
Mladenov began his career in Bulgaria with BUBA and Levski before moving to Italy in 2014 to join the youth system of Crabs Rimini. He made his senior debut in 2017 but missed nearly two seasons due to an ACL injury.
After returning to Levski in 2019, Mladenov rejoined Rimini in 2020 and helped the club earn promotion from Serie B. He later played for Virtus Imola and Latina Basket before returning to Bulgaria last season. Mladenov has represented his country at both the youth and senior levels.
