Edwin Jackson to miss six weeks with hamstring injury
LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne has announced that Edwin Jackson faces six weeks on the sidelines due to a hamstring injury.
The 31-year-old suffered the injury late in the second quarter of ASVEL's defeat against FC Bayern Munich in Round 7 of the 2024-25 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season and did not return to the game.
"After coming off against Bayern Munich, our guard suffered a partial injury to his left hamstring tendon, which will keep him out of action for around six weeks," reads ASVEL's statement.
Jackson has played in all seven of ASVEL's EuroLeague games this season, averaging 6.3 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists in largely a bench role.
He has scored in double figures twice this season, in Round 3 against ALBA Berlin and in Round 6 against Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens, while he also had a strong showing in Round 4 against Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz by scoring 8 points and grabbing 5 boards.
