Turkish Airlines EuroLeague champion Anadolu Efes Istanbul has agreed to a two-year contract extension with guard Bugrahan Tuncer.
Efes, Tuncer agree to two-year extension
Tuncer (1.93 meters, 29 years old) has been with the club since 2018 and been part of its glorious run to back-to-back EuroLeague crowns. This season he took part in 10 EuroLeague games, including two in the playoffs against AX Armani Exchange Milan. He averaged 1.3 points, 0.5 assists and 0.4 steals in a limited role. Tuncer had a bigger role in the Turkish League, where he averaged 9.3 points and 4.2 assists in 34 regular-season games.
The combo-guard began his career with Besiktas Istanbul ad also played for Aliaga Petkim, Istanbul Buyuksehir Belediyesi, Mersin BB, Eskisehir Basket and Balikesir Basket before joining Efes. Tuncer has helped Efes to a pair of Turkish championships with Efes and hopes to win a third this season. He has been a member of the Turkish national team, too.
