Here come the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Playoffs! The road map to the Final Four is complete, and the best eight teams in the competition are ready to do everything it takes to lift the EuroLeague trophy. The excitement will be through the roof, and to make things even better, EuroLeague Fantasy Challenge is back with a new contest.
Fantasy Challenge returns for the playoffs!
As you may have noticed already, all teams have been reset and a new contest initiated for the playoffs and the Final Four. There will only be one winner, the team with the highest accumulated score between now and the crowning of a EuroLeague champion in Belgrade, Serbia on May 21.
The prize for that singular winner will be two EuroLeague jerseys of the his or her choice, a EuroLeague Official Spalding Basketball and a EuroLeague TV subscription for the 2022-23 season.
As such, all teams begin this contest with equal opportunities to win. You can create new private leagues to compete against your friends, too. In order to give you a small advantage, we are recommending five players from different price ranges so that you can fit as many as you can in the new, 100-credit budget.
Shane Larkin, Anadolu Efes Istanbul (14.4 credits) – Even if Vasilije Micic comes back, Larkin is a reliable option who has been on fire lately, carrying Efes in the final rounds of the regular season. Larkin averaged 20.7 points, 6.0 assists and a PIR of 29.7 in his team's last three games. When the going gets tough, Efes knows Larkin should be there to provide answers on offense.
Shavon Shields, AX Armani Exchange Milan (12.3 credits) – Shields returned to action and finished the regular season with a good performance, getting 22 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists and a PIR of 26 against AS Monaco. Last season, Shields averaged 13.8 points and 4.0 rebounds in the playoffs, helping Milan get to the Final Four for the first time in almost three decades.
Keenan Evans, Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv (9.2 credits) – Other Maccabi players like James Nunnally and Scottie Wilbekin get more attention, and Evans is making the most out of it. He scored in double digits four times in his team's last five games, posting a PIR of 23 against Real Madrid, its playoffs opponent, in Round 32. Evans could be Maccabi's x-factor in the playoffs.
Alpha Diallo, AS Monaco (9.6 credits) – Diallo is having a sensational EuroLeague rookie season, averaging 9.7 point, 4.8 rebounds, 1.3 steals and a PIR of 11.7. He had some stellar performances late in the regular season, reaching PIRs of 31 in Round 29 against Efes and 26 in Round 27 against Fenerbahce. Diallo played in Greece last season and knows Olympiacos well.
Ognjen Jaramaz, FC Bayern Munich (6.0 credits) – Credit is limited, so all teams need cheap players to round out their rosters. Jaramaz seems a very good backup option at just 6.0 credits, as he has played really well recently. He had a breakthrough performance against Real in Round 34, finishing that game with 19 points, 4 rebounds, 8 fouls drawn and a PIR of 26 in Bayern's road win.
