The battle to advance to the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Playoffs is tighter than ever. Three wins separate second-place Olympiacos Pîreaus (12-7) from Valencia Basket (9-10), which is 12th in the standings. The competition is living up to its motto: Every Game Matters. As we enter Round 20, there are in-form players to consider to be more competitive in the EuroLeague Fantasy Challenge. Here are some recommendations for this week:
Bonzie Colson, Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv (11.5 credits) – Colson comes off a really strong double week and should keep his momentum going in a home game against high-scoring ALBA. In two games last week, Colson averaged 24.0 points on 12-of-15 two-point shooting and 7-of-11 on three-pointers, 10.5 rebounds and a PIR of 31.0. The man of the moment!
Johnathan Motley, Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul (15.1 credits) – Motley returned to action recently and showed his full potential in Round 19 against FC Bayern Munich with 22 points, a career-high 17 rebounds and a PIR of 38. A great scorer due to his size and athleticism, Fenerbahce needs Motley to step up against a physical squad like Monaco.
