Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul has signed one of the top guards in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, Wade Baldwin, to a multi-year contract.
Baldwin (1.93 meters, 28 years old) arrives from Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv, where he spent the last two seasons. He averaged 17.4 points and 4.9 assists for a PIR of 19.1 over 30 games last season, ranking third, ninth, and fourth, respectively, in those categories.
The American guard was named to the All-EuroLeague Second Team and helped Maccabi win the Israeli League in each of the last two seasons.
A native of New Jersey, Baldwin played college basketball at Vanderbilt University before entering the NBA in 2016 when he was selected as the 17th overall pick by the Memphis Grizzlies. He also played for the Portland Trail Blazers in the NBA before first coming to Europe for the first time to play for Olympiacos Piraeus in 2019.
