Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul signed big man [Samet Geyik](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/eurocup/players/samet-geyik/007122/), the club announced Monday. Geyik (2.06 meters, 29 years old) arrives from Turk Telekom Ankara for which he posted 6.9 points and 4.5 rebounds in the 7DAYS EuroCup last season. He also produced 7.7 points and 4.0 rebounds in the Turkish League.

Geyik is expected to make his EuroLeague debut with Fenerbahce. He was a member of the Anadolu Efes Istanbul roster during the 2016-17 season, but only competed for the team in domestic competitions.  Geyik has also played for Bornova Belediye, Tofar Bursa, Pinar Karsiyaka and Besiktas Istanbul during his professional career and has played for the Turkish national team, too.
